DESCRIPTION:[This booking page is for Day 3 of the three-day introductory course\, please see events page to book Days 1 & 2\, or the whole 3-day package] \nThis hands-on course offers a practical introduction to lime plaster as a key material in conserving heritage buildings\, including mixing and applying lime plasters\, renders and mortars. \nLed by experienced plasterer and SPAB Fellow\, Daahir Mohamed\, the course provides a solid foundation in the principles\, materials\, and techniques of traditional lime plastering. Alongside demonstrations and guided practice\, participants will explore the wider significance of lime in sustainable building repair and heritage conservation. The course also includes an introduction to career pathways within the heritage plastering and conservation trades. \nFocus of each day: \nThe full 3-day course is structured as follows\, with each day available to be booked separately\, or all 3-days as a package.
