Amar Eco-Plaster is an experienced lime plasterer in Norfolk, providing expert lime plastering and lime rendering for homes, heritage buildings, and conservation projects.
The name Amar means both “to love” in Spanish and “alive” or “immortal” in Arabic — reflecting our passion for sustainable materials, traditional craft, and creating healthy, long-lasting buildings.
About our work
Led by experienced craftsman Daahir Mohamed, Amar Eco-Plaster upholds the highest standards of heritage plastering. Daahir completed the prestigious William Morris Crafts Fellowship with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) in 2022, specialising in traditional lime plaster and lime render. His work follows SPAB’s conservation principles, ensuring sensitive, authentic restoration of historic buildings.
Daahir produces his own hot lime mortar mixes, carefully tailored to the needs of each project. This allows us to deliver breathable lime plastering solutions that support the health and longevity of your property.
Lime plastering courses
Amar Eco-Plaster Director, Daahir Mohamed, is a talented trainer, and regularly organises courses in lime plastering courses, as well as courses in other traditional crafts. Courses are delivered at his workshop in Smallburgh, near North Walsham, Norfolk, as well as in a range of settings nationally, in association with partners.
