Lime plaster will allow your home to breathe

We are a Norfolk-based contractor specialising in using lime plaster and lime render for modern or traditional interiors and exteriors.
Lime-based plasters and renders have been used in construction for millennia, covering both interior and exterior walls. Lime fell out of fashion in the mid-twentieth century after the advent of modern cement, but is now becoming popular again, recognised as an eco-friendly, healthy and functional material.
Unlike cement-based products, lime plaster and lime render are porous, allowing buildings to breathe, and moisture to slowly escape from walls.
We are skilled and experienced in producing lime mixes tailored to the needs of a project, and for a range of finishes and qualities. We are also expert in applying lime render and lime plaster for a range of traditional finishes in older or heritage properties, including in listed buildings, conservation or restoration projects.
Using lime-based plasters and renders in your property will help avoid problems associated with damp and condensation, making homes healthy to live in and renovations or maintenance long-lasting and cost-effective over the long term.

Lime plaster products

Lime plasters and renders all include lime extracted from natural limestone. Lime contains natural impurities such as clay and other minerals, the proportions of which determine how hard and how fast the plaster or render will set, as well as how breathable it will be.
As well as traditional lime products such as hot lime and lime putty, we also use hybrid, mixed products which combine lime with other sustainable materials for sustainable retrofit of older buildings.
We are based in Norfolk, and assess each building for its unique needs, producing specialist lime plaster mixes tailored for each project.
