Learn traditional heritage skills with an expert trainer

Alongside his work as a specialist lime plasterer, Amar Eco-Plaster founder Daahir Mohamed is an engaging and experienced trainer. He has delivered hands-on lime plastering courses to a wide range of learners, and recently piloted a successful training programme introducing refugees and asylum seekers to heritage trades.
With a strong commitment to inclusion, sustainability, and cultural heritage, Daahir now runs lime plastering courses in Norfolk tailored to homeowners, tradespeople, career changers and students in the construction industry, that open up meaningful pathways into heritage conservation for people from all backgrounds.

We are recognised by the Institute of Historic Building Conservation as a provider of continued professional development (CPD) courses.

Each course includes:

- Discussions about lime as a material and its unique benefits
- An introduction to heritage conservation principles and practices, and insight into the conservation sector
Training takes place at our workshop in Smallburgh, near North Walsham, Norfolk, or can be delivered in other settings across the UK. We also offer bespoke training for specific groups, projects, and learning environments.
